It’s been almost four years since I first watched Death Note and this quote became my favorite.

L is… eccentric to say the least. Although vastly intelligent, he is extremely disheveled both physically and socially, often letting people underestimate his intelligence. Often seen walking around campus in whatever he manages to find laying around on the floor and his hair left in whatever manner it was in when he woke up. His social skills are also something to be desired, often he finds the company of his laptop or a good book to be infinitely more amusing than conversation with another person, unless of course; they are able to think on the same level as him. L also has a sweet tooth, which has affected his diet; anymore for him to eat something healthy requires the almost constant prodding of those closest to him. Sarcastic and witty, when forced into conversation he’s almost always seen as uncaring and brash. Coming off as languid and almost lazy, most are surprised to see that L is extremely physically capable, captain of the tennis team at his previous private school in England and has an affinity for martial arts, although he is less than willing to admit to either skill. An insomniac through years of practice, one can usually find him awake at ungodly hours in random places around Acme.
